We recently received the following footage from an anonymous user who was kind enough to share their footage with us. Take a look below at the sheer scale of Waymo's car building operation:

Around 2,000 cars can be seen if you pause the footage to count each one. There may be more inside the adjacent buildings that are in the process of being built out. Our source tells us that this facility has been taking deliveries over the course of the last few months, with trucks being spotted here and there.

Around two weeks ago, Waymo enthusiast and content creator JJRicks also uploaded a video of this factory, with close up shots on ground level:

There has been much discussion on Reddit, with some users having previously thought that Waymo would "run out" of Jaguar I-Pace vehicles for their fifth generation driverless platform. It was previously announced that the model would be discontinued, with production ceasing in December 2024. Whether Waymo has acquired the last of Jaguar's stock, or if the I-Pace is still being produced, is still in question.

It will be interesting to see what Waymo's plans are for this incredible amount of vehicles! One thing is for sure - we're about to see a huge amount of driverless cars in cities across the US and the world.
